Thanks a good suggestion. I think the change of tyres and balancing the prop shaft has sorted most of it out. Unfortunately its with the mechanic now and he was a bit grumpy this morning so I didn't want to push my luck as he is doing me something of a favour.

Well I got the lorry back last night. All seems fine. Smaller tank and the prop shaft on the right way round for a change so hopefully all if fixed for Namibia tomorrow.

Well it was a good trip, mechanically as well as otherwise. The only problems were the left front wheel arch mud curtain fell off and the valves didn't like all that unleaded petrol (that's all there is in Namibia) but a bottle of additive fixed that. The corrugations are something terrible and this I think caused the oil pressure light to come on but like a good Nissan it fixed itself after a few days. I'll put some comments on the trip on this site under trip reports or whatever its called.
