New Patrol

Post by pbrandrick »

:blonde:
Gents today I took delivery of my new Patrol 3,0 GL. Man I am so proud:
What suspension system should I fit:
What dual battery system should I fit:
What do you think about ONCA rock sliders:
It came with a Bosal towbar, seems like a plough to me, what other towbars are available
What roof racks are available

Well done you will love it, one at a time you have many options and everybody has their own ideas. Drive it for awhile and look at what other have done and decide what's best for you.

Hi Paul,

Great news and congratulations. That troll is going make everybody at BWE very jealouse. We should get a group from BWE and Cat together and have a bit of fun.

Welcome Paul

Enjoy the car. Best car out there.

Before doing all the modifications, put a EGT (Exhaust gas temperature) measuring unit in. It will ensure years of enjoyable travel with no worries. This have been discuses quite extensively on the forum. I think the Mad Man system is the one preferred by most of the forum members.

Good luck.

Thanks Guys,
I appreciate the warm reception into the Patrol world and look forward to many adventures in my new baby.

Your advise makes good sense. I will look around and view other kitted out Patrols first.

Happy Patrolling
