Ek dink n p
Patrol se gewig laat die maxxis harder werk as die km2's. Of dit is wat ek gevind het.
Sal km2's beslis weer opsit. My radio werk goed in my kar

I have 285/75/16 Bridgestone Dueller D673 MT's - I have done approx 70,000 KM on them. Often on really bad dirt roads / mud / gravel / sand / rocky terrain. They have performed brilliantly. Were difficult to balance and have had them balanced from time to time. Haven't bothered rotating them. Have yet to have a puncture.
Grip is very good on wet roads. Noise acceptible for MT's. Got them for a really good price at Alberton Tyre clinic. Will try get more when the time comes, but I heard the price has got silly?
I got MT's because I hate getting stuck and often find myself on Muddy roads in Transkei / Dullstroom / Lesotho / Midlands on Fly Fishing / birding trips. Bigger size works brilliantly on 3.0 Hand Grenade.

BFG MK2 muddies. 285.75.16 So far done about 72 000km and still got about another 30 000km left in them, not one puncture.

Only fault i have found was that a few of them went out-of-round for some odd reason causing balancing issues with the steel rims, but i have sorted that out.

Noted that you are not a fan of them " toyota bfgs" so not sure if my response is usefull... any way I have tried various tyres over last few years on my working 4x4's... have always come back to BFGs... in long run the value for moeny comes through along with performance.

Currently have 34" BFG M/T KM2 (305x70R17) tyres on my Patrol and am very happy with them, road noise is acceptable for MT's and their performance on technical bits is great.

Regards,

Peter

Maxxis Big Horns :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo:

Assume traction of road and good wet weather handling. Price is secondary but also very good.

Unkredible, is the Bridgestone Duellers not an "All Terrain" tyre? I had Duellers on my Maiden.... I didn't like then too much, for the 4x4 driving I do. I put a set of Kumho 33" MT's on, and loved them.... but I need to get new tyres soon
