Re: West Coast Easter weekend trip
Thanks again fellow Patrollers....
Hopefully able to plan and carry on with the next outing to Sutherland in May, and Botswana / Namibia in June ....
Oh yes, since the West Coast camp, decided to sell the Eezi Awn rooftop tent and replace with a Howling Moon RTT.... excellent finish and care for finer detail ... and an add-a-room underneath (used as a kitchen/change room ( + entering the RTT dry) ....

Re: West Coast Easter weekend trip
Hi Tinus,
Glad you like it. Yes, the roof top tent can be used without the add-a-room, and can be collapsed for packing in a few minutes as well. Also no wet ground to sleep on.
The specific one I bought has the awning in front of the main entrance, which covers the entrance and stepladder as well. It affords a drier entry, if raining.
Today I've just bought a spare "used once" Howling moon 1.4mt roof top tent (exactly as the one I've just fitted to my Patrol), though the little flap covering the end is not fitted ( but can be made and sewn on).....
