I am currently looking for my first Patrol, and have to admit, not exactly sure what to checking for when go view the vehicles I have seen to date.
Do you perhaps know anyone in the Cape Town area that can assist with the same kind of thing. Also, when I have actually made the move and bought one, would also like to be able to take to someone to service/repair that knows what they are doing. Anyone you know of that you can perhaps recommend ?

Where in Cape Town? It depends where you are in the Cape because there are Patrol owners and specialists in the southern and northern suburbs as well as near the airport,etc.

Graham, I'm new to the forum and bought a 1984 safari a couple days ago. I live in the USA and haven't driven the safari myself yet. Will you also give my safari a free and thorough inspection and honestly tell me what it needs as far preventative maintenance? It has just over 300,000km but in good condition. I could have my brother who lives in Pretoria bring the vehicle in
