Multimedia & Navigation System custom made for Patrol
Hi Everyone!
We here at G-Tech Motors, fellow Patrol lovers, would just like to let you know of another service we offer.
We have recently fitted this to our Patrol.
We are now able to offer a full Multimedia and Navigation System custom made for Nissan Patrol's.
Features are as follows:
7" HD digital touch screen
Navteq navigation with latest mapping (Optional extra - Tracks4Africa)
Full iPod functionality
Built in handsfree Bluetooth
Integrates with steering wheel controls (factory fitted)
Plays CD/VCD/DVD/MP3/MP4/Div-X/etc.
RDS Radio with preset stations
Built in music hard drive
Factory fitted look
Optional Extra's / Bundle Deal available
TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System)
Reverse camera or PDC (Park Distance Control)
Headrest with built-in DVD/USB systems with infra-red headphones.
Let's be honest it does not come cheap and definitely not Fong Kong cheap either.
Herewith the breakdown :
Full bundle with all the bells and whistles is R24000.00
Bundle without headrest DVD system : R18000.00
Bundle with only unit and reverse camera or park distance control is R14500.00
The multimedia and navigation unit is R14000.00 alone with no extra's.
Does have a USB cable/port, which is placed in cubby hole with the i-pod connection.
We have fitted this unit to our Patrol (1998 4.5GRX) and we say we are "semi-boer" so we can make a plan to fit it to any Patrol.
There is no reason no to make an old Patrol look and feel like a new one!
Happy and safe trolling!
Graham & Vanessa

Re: Multimedia & Navigation System custom made for Nissan Pa
Mr G.... dare I ask the cost of a unit like that? It looks like a sweet setup and I presume the old shape (1999-2004ish) dashboard can take a unit like this?
Regards
Cedric

Yeah, whats the price for various options eg no TPMS (I already one), no rear seat displays etc.
Does it have a USB port (important!)

Graham / Vanessa
I have three kids. Chances are they will want to watch three movies at the same time.
One sits in the back.
Do you sell the DVD headrests individually or only in pairs?
I am still dreaming of the lotto...

You should also tell the forum about the rear light cluster option.

Re: Multimedia & Navigation System custom made for Patrol
I have one of those. Very nice indeed. They fit the dash with a minor mod. (old car)
I do not have the head-rest monitors. The rest is nice. The reverse camera are a bit slow. Or should I say the monitor. By the time after startup and the garage door opens, then I select reverse and back out of my garage. Only then the camera come on.
Dont use it anyway. Have the camera on a switch to see in the back going foward.
