Well Done EVERYBODY that too part and all the spectators... some even got involved and became co drivers !!!



And also, to the FANTASTIC team spirit and as Kobus said "Culture" the Nissan 4x4 Club represents !!!( I overheard a comment to Daniel (Bridgestone) on how good the spirit was .... again Well Done !!!!

One thing that shocked me and I think for many of us "old members", there were only 4 "old members" in the top 10 places, and 6.....yes 6 new members that made it into the top 10 !!!!!..... and 2 of those new members made second and third place!!!!!! WOW
WELL DONE !!!!
And as for the WINNER !!!!!..... also in a Hardbody ( his new one, as his Patrol became a very big 3ton braai a few months back) ...... WIMPIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done my friend you are a LEGEND !!!

I'm sure we will be able to get the scores cause I would like to know how far down I was from "The Wimpenizer"

The Event was a success, Bass Lake was a wonderful venue, Bridgestone, Conquer and Opposite lock put up some awesome prizes and the Marshals ran a smooth, efficient obstacle evaluation and scoring. Thank you.

Dave, I may be mistaken but I think third place went to a Pathy..... stock standard !!!!!! as in off the showroom floor !!!!!!

The event will be shown on DSTV Ignition channel some time in September.... so keep a look out for it
Those damn cameras..... ha ha ha.... oh that should be loads of fun and giggles... I still got a lecture from the Marshal on the one they recorded with me..... was like being in the principals office !!!

Oh and there unfortunately aren't any photos, as one cannot access the obstacles to get the shots.... so you will have to wait till September to see some great action !!... or join in next year !!!!!... now there can be NOOOOOO excuses. Let do it ....

I must just say that even though our Patrols are not the ideal vehicle to do this kind of competition.... I think we did quite well.....4th place was the first Patrol (Bruin Beer), and 6th place was the Iron Maiden, and 10th spot belonged to Peter Connan.... So our Patrols didn't do too bad guy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
