How quiet is the patrol GRX CC / AC?

Both the Disco 3 and Pathfinder have 7 speed settings. On the Pathfinder 3 is like the D3's 7. The Discos AC sounds like a vacuum cleaner compared. You have to switch it off to hold a cell call forget handsfree. It irritates me that people think the D3 is leagues ahead it ain't.

It bugs me so much I want to know what the patrols is like?

if I have the fan on no 4, welll yeah a little noisy, but running the aircon on fan speed 2 on hands free ( parrot ), which is ptttttt on my car sound system, I can still hear and talk ok. My motor ( 4.2 Turbo Diesel 3" exhaust ) is probably the noisiest .....ha ha

Quiet, except when fan running full ball.

I rarely take the fan past 2 and there it is nice and quiet. On 1 (my usual setting for long roads) you do;t even know it is on. When you start taking it to 3 and 4 it becomes louder, but road noise is still considerably more than fan noise.

Coool thanks I must test the GU SUV's, my dads bakkie is a mute. My wife and I are not enjoying the D3, luxury / features wise the Pathy knocks it for a six.
