Always loved Patrols - need to find one ASAP, test drove one in JHB south - I believe the previous owner was apart of this forum? (Potty?) car was very cool but had a few conserns:

- Auto
- Engine was rebuilt (not too sure by whom which was conserning but went well)
- Aircon system seems to not work
- Climate control seems to have been bypast?
- Power steering was not working

But wow WHAT a car!!

@JULES - thats a weird coinsidence but thanks and Shalom.

@Ricster - TL 1000R is an awesome bike man, at the moment I have a 2005 Honda VTR SP2 - lekka bike but its no where near as user friendly as the TL... but still good fun:)

Thanks Guys all the best for the weekend.
Unless it's going for real cheap (less than R40k), I would avoid it. There's too much wrong there...
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Hi and welcome. When I first saw your name I thought I recognised it then I read a bit further and I saw you race formula v. must have read it in one of the newspapers or mags that I buy. Hope you hook up with a Patrol soon, then you can join in the driving fun and really see how these babys ignore what is supposed to be difficalt stuff asnd askes for something a bit more challenging

Hi again guys!!

Sorry about the long ass delay!!! Been so rough at work - do a lot of business in Africa and travelling like a beast... but alas no overlanding - STILL!!!
Need to find a troll ASAP Y60 preferably but looking to get one for roughly R50,000 or a tad higher?? has anyone seen any good / desent ones?

Checked out the white one in PTA a while back (see its still for sale) but the dude wants way too much considering all the issues:

- rubber seals kaput
- tons of stearing play
- grill is cracked
- rear right light is cracked
- diff lock doesnt seem to work (jacked up the back with the lock on and wheels still spun opposite directions)
- 5x kaput tires
- interior moldy smell (from the seals leaking)
- etc
- etc
- etc

Has anyone seen it or think it might be worth it?? its going for R58 000 Neg?

Thanks again for the warm welcomes guys you chaps are awesome!!! Now to find a troll :) :blonde:
