If there was oil on the plate I should still be experiencing the shudder but currently no shudder and no oil leaks from what I can see.

I booked the Patrol in today as my shudder is back. Seems as if a solid flywheel conversion is on the cards. Does anybody know the Valeo part number for the clutch kit?

Also is the NAVARA flywheel not the same as the Patrol?

Speak to AUTO BOX in Pta Koedoespoort, [yes they do manual as well] They can source VALEO and SACHS [altwee ewe goed] both are on par in quality - the Sachs has "softer" down force -- easier or SWAMBPO and okes with dun beentjies to depress the clutch when changing gears
[bog okes like me and Grant dont mind that bit :-)) QQQ

Booked the Patrol in at Mayfair gearbox. The gearbox has been removed and it seems that the DMF has some bad patches.

Gilo engenerring will be making up a new solid flywheel for me and I have ordered the Valeo NS20 clutch kit from Midas.

They removed the gearbox and labour will be around R2500. The clutch kit was R1900 and I had to purchase a diffrent thrust bearing as the one that comes with the NS20 kit is larger in diameter.New solid flywheel will cost around R4800.

I will post final pricing and part numbers of all items once complete.
