Will check them all out. A factor that may be important is the distance to travel to get to the appropraie AutoWiel as it may cancel out the discount in terms of the cost of fuel for the to-and-fro trip.

But they will not be able to match the prices Barend at Auto Wiel's branch at Centurion West (behind the Sasol garage on the R55 just north of the N14) can offer you, because their rental is much lower and thus their overheads.

So by any means use any branch of Auto Wiel, but take note that none of them will be able to match Centurion West's prices.

What has this got to do with the tyre price. As I have said contact Patric and test him. How do you know that the rent is cheaper ?

Will you post the spec of the tyres and what price you received for it? Will also like some mud tyres, but must make some time to shop around for the best deal here in CT. Thanks

Incidently

AutoWiel Centurion West gave the best quote on the GoodYear MTRs. AutoWiel Centurion gave the best quote on Cooper STTs, but their price on the GoodYears was horrendous. AutoWiel Centurion West gave the best price on tyres for SWAMBO's car and the service was excellent.

A good price on the Goodyear 285/75R16 MRTs would be between R2000 to R2350 and for the Cooper STTs is R2350.

Some of the well known tyre outlets see you coming from miles away and their prices are from another planet.
