Air Suspension - "bladder"
I've noticed (heard) that the left hand bladder of my air suspension seems to have a puncture, can this be fixed/patched or does one need to replace the blader or maybe both?

Cedric didn't want to ask, so how did you get a puncture and how did you fix it?

Re: Air Suspension - "bladder"
yeah I want to know too.... ( you never know when you might need this repair )
Seriously though... I presume that these bladders cannot be repaired due to the pressures achieved when inflated and then even more so when, for example, under full articulation.

Re: Air Suspension - "bladder"
Dirk,
Most of the time the air bladders get punctured is due to a very low pressure. Contact your nearest fitment centre and ask them to inquiry about a warranty. Normally the suppliers are more than happy to assist. Check you bladders regularly and keep inflated to a minimum of 1.5 to 2 bar.

Re: Air Suspension - "bladder"
Ouch, painful lesson to learn, worst part is I did not even know I had air suspension till I got the vehicle home and started a proper inspection, so do not know if it was like that when bought.
Will phone around and se what I can find out.
As for the warranty, would be difficult as I don't know who the supplier was and the fitment was done in Cape town.

Re: Air Suspension - "bladder"
Dirk, if you don't intend carrying heavy loads you could just remove both the bladders?

Peter Peter Peter............... are you actually suggesting that I REMOVE one of my gadgets from the Trol
That will never work, one must add not reduce gadgets, it would be like taking a toy from a 4 year old
I would just not be able to do that to my inner child
