Powerbrake GQ Patrol Rear Disks AVAILABLE !!!

Post by mvcoller »

I have managed to convince Leon at Powerbrake to bring in one set of rear disks for me from the UK for my GQ Patrol at R950 ex Vat per disk (ie per side).

The shipment is being made up this week, so if you jump, you too can get a set into the next shipment.

Leon told me once the set lands, they will machine them and it will be ready to courier to me at the end of November!

Regards

Malcolm

Leon's details are:

Hello Malcolm,

Thanks for the heads-up. How does the price compare with the other SA options available, or can only only sorce from Nissan Parts?

You mention the powerbrake discs, what about the shoes? Is a disc a disc or is there a difference. I know the powerbrake discs can be ordered for different performance specifications and applications, but how much of that effect lies with the disc and how much with the shoe?

Regards

Hallo almal,

Dankie!

As ek by Powebrake bestel kos die Terrano se nuwe Mintex pads (baie baie beter as Ferrodo!!) onder R600 'n stel. Albei hierdie pryse is oornag aflewering ingesluit.

Die Terrano se skywe het my R1100 elk gekos by Powerbrake, Nissan wou my meer as R2500 per skyf laat betaal!

Dankie Malcolm,

Klink my die probellem lê meer by die skoene as by die skywe. ek het vorige threads gelees en tot die gevolg gekom dis dalk beter om by die OEM skoene te hou. My skywe is nog fyn-pikkewyn.

Soos die engelsman sal sê: "Different horses for different courses..."

Groete

MVC,

I used to have the same problem with the Vin numbers as my Troll is a Aussie spec. Nissan loaded a new software about two years ago ans scince then no problem.

Next set of discs will be Power Brake.

Great Post

Yes they will keep stock, ie raw material from which they machine the disc, or that is the information I got when I phoned them.

Hi Gents,

Just fitted power brake front discs and pads to the Troll. Nissan wanted R5g's for the disks :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: QQQ Discs are still being run in but very responsive. Price was half.
