GQ front bumper
i found this photo on the net of a GQ in Oz and I'm thinking of having a bumper like this made for mine. I have spoken to the guys at JK Acessories already and waiting for an answer on cost.
This looks damn cool and pretty functional too.
If there are more interested parties, maybe we can negotiate a better price.

Re: GQ front bumper
Look good. Also decided that me TJM bumper looks boring, so I am busy with a design. Need as mile on the from of the car with more aggressive style.

Re: GQ front bumper
What's going on with the snorkel in the pic ?
I once read somewhere on the Aus forum that some guys recon the fuel consumption increases with the snorkel being turned backwards - could this be the issue here ?
Must say that bumper really looks cool

Re: GQ front bumper
These Patrols have pretty k#k fuel consumption figures, but I suppose another half km per lt couldbe the difference between pushing the last 5km to the next fuel stop or driving therejan.dup wrote:What's going on with the snorkel in the pic ?

Re: GQ front bumper
This sty;e of bar has become hugely popular in Australia. Very light, functional , strong, and cheaper to build. They also tend to offer far better approach and departure angles for front and rear respectively.
This really make a GQ look tough!

Re: GQ front bumper
Very similar to my bullbar, except that I didn't put in a winch-box (it really buggers up the approach angle) and I cladded the outer sections. And added protection for the lights.
