I think it depends a lot on tires.

Alex i agree with you tires makes a big difference and the bfs tend to be more stiff than the other ones so i think a person needs to ajust the pressure to the terrain and tipe of tire that one has got on .
what is the weight differince between the 3.0l and lexus in the front of your trol?

On my 33" Kumho MT, I ran 1.1 on the sand.... and I was fully loaded (probably well over the 3ton mark ), and also pumped up to 1.7 on the rocks..... had lots of weight and still had good tyre bulge on the sidewall. had no problems climbing that mountain.

Ironically the V8 is apparently slighlty lighter than the 4 cylinder 3.0L. Don't know why.
The Bridgstone Duellers just seem to be softer tires. My starting point next time on rocks would be 1.8.

Alex its lighter because the lexus is an all aluminmium motor while the 3.0 runs a real heavy cast irom cylinder block

Hi Maats. Hier is paar goeie duine.
