Re: Nissan Clutch
Russ yeah just a clutch replacement - Paul said it was right on the limit - ie got my moneys worth out of it... (although 143kkm not massively high mileage). I;ve got the low rev grumble/rattle but it doesnt bother me, always done it, i even think i've begun to like it
Taking a drive out to Magaliesburg this weekend so that should give me enough feedback.. so far the drive back from Menlyn was awesome, i can even overtake!
Enjoy the weekend!
Dave

Re: Nissan Clutch
Update: Purchased my clutch yesterday:
R5200.00
Included:
Clutch Plate
Pressure Plate
Release Bearing
Spigot Shaft Bush
Anyway, i thought this was a good price considering its genuine upgraded Nissan HD clutch pack.
NOTE: Petere and the lads mentioned a Spigot Bearing but apparently according to my VIN its a spigot bush? your thoughts....

Re: Nissan Clutch
Just some feedback
My clutch replacement, full kit with seals etc, all OEM, came to R9,900 including VAT. Of that labour was R2,500 (i think), my car was with Menlyn Clutch and Brake for 3 days - 1 day of that waiting for the rear main seal.
Workmanship appears to be top notch, Paul Labus the proprietor in my opinion is a good man to use, thanks Oompie
