Dion

Be strong in this time friend we are thinking of you and your fammily

I also saw a post on SA 4x4 of a Hilux snorkel that you have up for sale , maybe one post with all your stuff and some prices and pictures might make it easier for us to keep tabs on what youve got and we can spread the word around

Mods, if I am out of line in posting this please delete.

So after arranging with Dion to go to his house to pick the Snorkel and waterproof roof rack bag up , getting the cash together taking and hour and a half out of a very busy short work week and a round trip of 80kms on the N1 from Alberton to Midrand, he refused to come out of the house to conclude the deal. And also wont take any of my calls.
Instead he sent the gardener out to tell me that he was not in. This after the gate officer at the boom told me that he was home and the gardener himself saying that he was in and I must wait he will fetch him.

I am at a loss as to why someone would post multiple items for sale and then not want to conclude the sale on two of the items.
And also not have the common decency to call me and call of the deal before I go through the whole excercise of drawing a large sum of money, taking time off work and spending large on the feul to get there and back(it is a Troll afetr all  )

WTF??
Regards
Adrian

Funny, I have been watching this guy's posts with a feeling of concern for some time now...And I am actually quite a sucker.

I can't really put my finger on it, but it just seemed as if he didn't really want to make the effort to interact, and there was just too much stuff that has apparently never been fitted, and why have snorkels for three (or more) different vehicles, all "new in box"?

Most of us, the moment we gat new toys we can't wait to bolt it on.

Overthehill, if you really did lose a brother recently, my sincerest apologies and commiserations. However I suspect this is some sort of a scam.
