Wynvat,

Ek is net so erg oor myne!!

Hello Guys

Has anybody tried the Tireguard system? It is currently selling for a lot less than the other systems, but how inferior is it?

Oom Mac google Tireguard.

I also fitted the Digitire type (TPMS-201-S) and it is excellent. What I like most is that the valve is short enough to be inside the outer part of the rim. Up to now, driven through mud, rocks and deep sand and the valves was not damaged. I also like the 4x4 mode that the system offers.

The only negative point is that the battery life of the system is 7 years and you can't change the battery, you have to buy new valves. 7 years is a long time though!!

Also, just check that you can only fit a plastic valve cap. The other steel and metal caps influence the working of the system.

Hi Guys
I have installed a KiPoint TPMS. Very happy with it, a nice colour display and sensors/transmitters fitted inside the tyres. I imported 2, one was for a guy at work who has a cruiser, he also very pleased with it. They can be imported for about R1600.
I fitted mine inside the small cubby in centre top of the dashboard and routed 12volt into the back of the cubby.
