Leaving from PTA for 3 Provinces

Post by Wilfred Moore »

Hi All,

We are planning to leave from Centurion on the 23rd at 13:00.

Anyone interested to join in a convoy?

Let's meet at the Shell Ultra City, SAMRAND, South Lane at 12:45 to leave at 13:00.

Ronel just advised me that we should not use the road from Delmas to Standerton because of the bad road and pothole lots of vehicles damaged their tyres.

Should not be a problem for Patrols!

She reckon we should use the Heidelberg - Balfour - Standerton - Volksrust road.

SInce my Patrol is in Cape Town for the Melkbos event, I can offer you guys a Land Rover Disco II as sweeper vehicle to :helpsign: all the Nissans attempting the long BAD road to 3 Provinces ... he he he ...

Seriuosly though, it would have been great to meet all the names on the forum in person, but for a weekend it is just a tad too far!!!

Enjoy, we will be looking forward to the images from the weekend.

You mean "sweeper" as in the vehicle attached to the tow rope behind the Patrol in the back of the convoy, I presume  .
