These are from our tour of Bots last july:

The group consisted of, from left to right, us, my Dad, Pierre Botha and Gerrit Stimie. This one was taken on the first pan heading for Kubu Island from Lethlakane side.

This is, as the sign says, third bridge. The day was better than any photo can do justice to This is a bit of a cheat, because my fiance took this. I was driving.

I am keeping one slot open in case I ever do take a decent photo.

Met al die sneeu wat smelt was dit ysig en al wat stroom was het geloop (Cape Nature wou ons bespreking kanseleer maar die Patrol het skaars agter gekom hy is nie meer op die teer nie!)

Was 'n eerste keer vir my vrou en jongste kind om in die sneeu te speel - twee dae later was die meeste sneeu weer gesmelt

Thanks guys - i really wanted to put these photos up with a trip report from my dec10/jan11 zim trip report. All can say is that it was just my girlfriend and I, summer storms across kariba, the most amazing dirt roads, and the patrol. Changed my life

Another one, same day, different angle, my two favourite things in the world, at my favourite sunset point in the world.
