Tie rod ends and centre track rods - 4.5GRX
Hi Guys!
Nissan appearantly do not have the above in stock.
I have just had these items recond (epoxy injection?) at Wheeltech PE for R1000 - incl allignment.
However they could not guarantee it because of the size/weight of 'Troll.
What is the long term / correct solution?
(I have 180k on clock)

Navigator there are a number of guys on the forum who have had their tie rod ends epoxy injected with success.
While it is not as good as knew tie rods, it is better than nothing and can't make the situation any worse than it was before, and if it doesn't last it can probably be done several times for the price of a new set, since one entire rod needs to be replaced.

Nav - Agarob has done 233 000 Km and still on original set - and they are still fine [most of his life before me was on tarred roads up & down West Coast]
Had Boezman's tie rods swopped for a set from Auto Quip [for free - they are "On trial" ] BUT the set from Boezman is still 95% A-OK ['m keeping them - for when the Auto Quip (if) gives in)
Contact - Chantelle Pereira at chantellep@autoquip.co.za & check if they have TRE for the Patrol [sommer offer to evaluate them? - as I am doing for the Hard Body]
