Thanks Cedric you have just restored my faith in nissan's designers. If it ain't broke, those guys don't fix it.
The less I say about jeeps, the better.
At that price, I wouldn't bother trying to make a different plan.
Cheers

Re: Suspension Knock: Sorted
I thought about doing that too, but with the roof rack on, and fully loaded, what will the effects be if I go around a corner at a speed that may be a little too high, or if one had to swerve to avoid a cow on a deserted road in the middle of nowhere like is often seen. I have at present a 2" OME lift and still need to do the extra 1" to gain 3" in total and change tyres to 33", which should give me about 4" total lift. This total lift is where I'm worried that those sway bars will definitely be needed!!

Well, I got a 6" lift and 39" tires, no problems here; althought< I have to admit, I am very conscious of my driving, specially in wet weather, those Boggers offer no side traction on wet roads.
I would try it, sway bars are easy to put on and off, as a matter of fact you can disconect them for a while and give them a "try and feel", also you can put quick disconects -- had those for a while -- so you can disconect when off roading and reconect when on the free way. No biggie really, but you will feel more body roll without them. Takes a little getting used to if one's willing...
