Hello All

If possible, can we start at around 08h30? The office opens at 08h00 for signing in. The numbers to call if you want to arrange camping are 056 818 1313 or 082 339 9177. I have camped there before, the prices are very good and the facilities reasonable, with showers and flushing toilets. Hot water is provided from a donkey and power from a generator, which unfortunately is in the campsite, so there is some noise. The campsite is also not particularly scenic, but at the prices I think the facilities are adequate. I will unfortunately not be camping there this time.

The trail is great, for those of you who have not been there, it is certainly one of the nicest and most exciting trails in our area, and the largest part of the trail can be done without any real risk as long as you don't take chances.

Travelling from JHB should take you about 2 hours.

Remeber to bring lots of recovery equipment guys .. Oompie will be going with LOBO and the old thing has no assist thingies like lockers ...
Jafel who did the rear springs also hashed it and put BAKKIE springs on ... so the old man is very stiff in the joints.

Of course you must bring friends & familiy - nevermind what they drive - the occasion is arranged via this Forum but is not limited to Patrol owners.
