Lekhubu

Post by Peter Connan »

Hello All
I know this is a trick question as one season is so diferent from another, but does anybody know whether it is generally possible to drive to Khubu Island (Botswana) in Easter holiday (end of March)?

Thanks
Peter

Hello Oom Mac

Unless one likes Baobab trees, sunsets (and sunrises) and orange moons, you may well be right. But there is lots of flat ground and I want to hold a moeviese party there Easter next year. In short, I want to get married there :woo: QQQ QQQ :rolling:

(Dom vraag vannie oompie - Gan jy gaste hê by jou troue? hoe kry jy hulle daar?)

Oom Mac I was there in July 2009, the experience of driving over those seemingly endless pans, that sound almost hollow as the cars drive over them is something I will never forget. we were lucky though and never got stuck, although in places you could feel it getting soft and slippery.

Langman while I am exceptionally fond of my 'trol, it does lack some elements: It doesn't cuddle and I have not been able to get it to cook me a decent meal either (although the engine bay makes a marvelous defrosting oven) .
