If it helps I just fitted a set of KM2's 285/75/16 and really happy with them, look fantastic on the vehicle which now seems to be in better proportion.
I was also torn between AT's and M/T's but after speaking to a few people went the MT route due to the advantages of the MT's as my vehicle is mainly used for 4x4 trails and overland trips.
Noise has increased slightly on tar but turning up the radio helps

, I also noticed the speedo now reads accurately. Only draw back is I seem to now have to use a bit more throttle than before which is understandable going from 265's but am willing to live with it. From what I understand to get the best mileage out of a pair of KM2's the best approach is to do regular rotations of every 5,000km which will keep uneven tread wear and noise to a minimum, up to 80,000km but will have to wait and see.
