Anybody know if a winddeflector on a roofrack really works ????? Less noise or less fuel????

eL Lo Willie - nope, the difference [if any] fuel does not even register ... BUT the noise without that thingy can drive you nuts, and SWAMBO, and the kids. - So yes - you do need one..
The "W/shop" that fitted my 'WindCheetah" roofrack bent my deflector - and that noise is really bad [maar ek gannie trug na hulle nie ... once bitten twice shy, thrice bitten .. FOREVER shy]

Willie,
Windeflector on my FR roof rack works very well. All I did extra was rubber mount it as it tended to vibrate with a metal on metal noise. As far as fuel consumption, nothing.

I sooooooo wish someone will come up with an affordable "scoop" that fits in front of roof racks [like the HardBody has ] But something that fits a Patrol roof line - thing is, with a roof rack fitted, that 'scoop' on the Hard Body's roof also has to make way. Pity.
