Marg'ie - the thing is - It does not mean that a car WILL break down 'cause you think so ... and on the other hand - it does not mean a car will NOT break down 'cause you think so...
If that makes sense? Have the Patrol sorted BUT put your mind at ease and ensure your personal security as well, first & foremost.

Glad your electrical problem has been resolved. Take it one thing at a time.

I've never had my Patrol serviced at Nissan, heard too many stories which leads me to believe that they only know what is 'in the book' and do not have an intimate knowledge of Patrols

Stefan,

Sedert verlede Saterdag by SAC in Centurion, kyk ek weer met nuwe oe na die ZD30 enjin. Ek glo wel dat alles wat ons op hierdie forum al gesels het rakende EGT, temperature in die algemeen en goeie enjin instelling, is waar en moet so gedoen word. Die punt is dat 'n ZD30 enjin wat nie reeds deur onkunde halfpad stukkend gery is nie en behoorlik nagesien en gery word, baie hoe kilos kan gee.

Ek is die 2de eienaar en let op al die goed. Wat die wa se geskiedenis is of hoe die vorige eienaar hom gery het kan ek nie sê nie, maar ek's nog baie happy.
