Hi,
I'm selling a GQ/Y60 TB42E OEM Factory EFI Engine - Fuel Injected
These engines are very rare to find in South Africa.
With with the oem fuel injection, low compression ratio, forged crank and rods, cast iron block, this is the perfect base for a turbo project in your Patrol.
The reason for sale is that I planned on putting it in my GQ and turbocharging it, but have decided to go TD42/Diesel instead.
The engine has 300K KMS+ mileage, which is by no means a lot for these engines, and comes out of a local, healthy running GQ Patrol. The reason the owner removed it is that he was busy with a V8 turbo conversion for dune driving.
It's basically a complete long block:
All ancillaries there: Power Steering pump, Aircon Compressor, Viscous Fan, aftermarket headers, intake with maf and new K&N filter, radiator shroud, almost new clutch.
The important bits i.e EFI intake manifold, Injectors with Injector harness, throttle body etc is all there on the engine.
Unfortunately the only missing components is the full body/engine wiring harness as that is integrated into the Patrol body, and an ECU.
You will also need an electronic intank or inline fuel pump.
It's a big heavy engine, so the buyer will need to bring an engine crane along, it is on a dolley.
R15 900 for everything.
