Adjust the timing chain to 7 BTDC

Post by ra_01 »

Hi

Is there an advantage changing the timing chain BTDC from 5 degrees to 7? I know its a simple change using software.

Will it improve low down tourque and fuel consumption?

Already changed my tires to 33 and converted my diff ratio to 4.1.

Thank you
Regards
Rahul

The timing chain primarily controls valve timing, not ignition timing. Ignition timing can be tied to the valve train, or to the crrankshaft. I am not sure how it is done on the TB48.
