Bridgestone Dueler A/T's
Hey guys.
I was wondering if anyone knows the recommended barometric pressure for these types of tyres, with a standard to light load?
Ive been running it with 2.2 bar in the front wheels and 2.4 in the back and it works fine, but i'm a little worried i may be reducing the lifetime of the tyres or increasing shredding risk by having the pressure either too low or too high.
Any help here would be appreciated.

Bridgestone told me that the pressure for the 285/75x16 must be 2,4.

I do not believe that there is a "one and only" answer on this question. To many variables comes into play which requires frequent tyre pressure management. However, I am on my 4th set of dueler 275/75/16 D694's. I keep all 4 tyres at 2,2 bar on-road, around the pot, every day use. The previous 3 sets all did more than 85000km, of which the last one did 105000km's.
I believe that regulare wheel rotation, regular pressure checks and pressure management according to load and road surface ALL IN COMBINATION will result in high kilos.

Because I would LOVE to fit 275/75/16 AT's to my car, however that is a size I have not yet come across ...
How do they behave when nearing the end of their life? The BFG's start to become a handful on tar, particularly when wet!
? Are you sure about the size ? - are they 275/70/16 or 285/75/16 AT's?However, I am on my 4th set of dueler 275/75/16 D694's.

My mistake. 275/70/16 A/T. My confidence/trust definitely declines as the tyres near its expiry date. I still can not complain about general behaviour on dry surfaces though, but I become more cautious on wet hard surfaces...not that I can mention any incident as such. However, the ABS system tends to come into play more often when the tyres are worn.
I am aware of the BFG's behaviour on wet tar, especially when they are worn. I experienced worn BFG,s on a Cruiser of a friend. The bad behaviour was quite obvious, compared to the D694's.
Having said all of this however, I replace my tyres with approx 15-20% life left in them. My old tyes usually goes to my trailer from there.

I asked about the size as I have found that the size, type and usage of the tyre also makes a big difference.
For example: i run my GY MTR's (285/75/16) at approx 2 bar on tar road when empty, at no more than 2.4 in the front and 2.7 to 2.8 in the rear when fully laden.
Offroad goes to 1.3 in front and 1.4 tot 1.6 in the rear when laden and the conditions are sandy etc
With the standard 275/70/16 tar road biased tyres I could go much higher before experiencing discomfort (bouncing). Ran 2.4 on tar road when empty.
So I believe 2.2 all round when empty sounds good to me!
Enjoy, I need to make that painful transition to 6x AT tyres within the next 2 months ... financially reeeeaalllly painful!
