Re: Steering wheel "play" , forward and back, NOT left to right.
Sorry guys, got caught up today with time, and with such a radical evening i decided to spend the last few daylight hours having a beer at the red herring looking out at long beach.....awesome. I'm gonna tackle this tomorrow and post my findings.

Re: Steering wheel "play" - SORTED! with pics
Well i got it sorted, Gman you were right, all it was is a nut that worked itself loose above the sealed bearing. The steering wheel was a bitch to get off and the advice of putting continental pillow in front of my face was good valid advice, cause when it comes off it comes right off, nowhere to hide in a single cab!!!
I was just wondering it there are specs on how tight to torque that nut, or if had tight is enough, or too much, so anyone with a manuel please post that info in this thread for me, thanks. I tightened it up pretty tight but not overly so.
You have to take the cluster off to get to the large nut (spanner size 26 ) . What is the green spring loaded plastic thingy for, could work it out. Perhaps indicator auto reset after cornering?
Here's some pics.
