Can only echo what most have said here.
Just let my 3.0L CRD go - but for the only reason one ever sells a Patrol - to get a better Patrol haha :blonde:
I am going the other way, "upgrading" to a 4.8 GRX, but mostly because I don't commute at all and only want it for play/bush car.

My 3L CRD worked well under most conditions. Did feel a bit sluggish in town, but I didn't mind (that "plaaskar" feeling suits me).
Open road was great, got consumption between 8-9km/l fully loaded.

Dit is simpel. So turbo boost nou nooit weer reg nie?

Ek sou bekommerd wees oor my piston crowns in die geval.
