The majority, you will probably be able to do, but every once in a while the river throws up a surprise. I remember one year there was a rock step followed by an off-camber sandy climb. The rock step meant that one couldn't tackle the climb with any momentum. Sliding down the camber meant that you ended in a pool of water.
The sand was soft enough that about 70% of cars needed recovery, and there was no way around.
It is also pretty likely that the trip will cost you a couple of tires on the trailer, unless it follows the car's tracks exactly. There are some very narrow twisty rock sections.
