Hi All,
As per my intro, I am the proud new owner of a teenager Patrol. 2016 with only 65k km on the clock.
I picked it up yesterday and, on my way back, noticed a shudder when I brake at high speeds. Low speeds this is not an issue.
I am not a car guru, but from what I can recall, this could be warped discs? Or is it something simple like wheel alignment or balancing?
What are your thoughts? 65k km seems very low to replace front discs.
Also, what is the best indie mechanic in the Jhb north area. I work in Midrand, so that side could also work.

Welcome Darth
Best indie for general maintenance and electrical is Ant Forgey. He is a forum member, so you could send him a PM, or zero79 4double9 769two.
A shudder under braking is almost certainly warped discs but it could be showing you play in the suspension, steering or wheel bearings.
Al these should probably not be happening at 65k km, but who knows.
