Hi guys. I have read on a bit now, but still not sure. Would a 4.2d patrol bakkie clutch fit on a wagon?
The agents pricing for the Safari is R11k, R8k for the GU and R5k for the bakkie. That's quiet a difference.

I stand corrected, but as far as I know, the GU bakkie and GU station wagon ( TD42 motor) will take the same clutch. The GQ diesel ( also TD42 motor ) should also take the same clutch, but the TB42 ( petrol motor) may be a different clutch.

The GU bakkie also came out in a 3.0L so i think that would also be a different clutch, but assume it would be the same GU Station wagon with a 3.0L diesel

I'm sure someone will have a part number for a GQ TD42 clutch kit

The TB42, TB45 and TD42 clutches are all interchangeable. I am pretty sure the clutch plates are the same.

Whether the pressure plates are actually the same or whether they have different springs and thus torque ratings I don't know.
