I had a brother, at worst a cousin of your Patrol. Mine was a 1995 4.2i SGX brought from the UK by a returning RSA contract worker. See on the last picture, this one came with wipers on the front lights, obviously for the snow in the UK!! I sold it about 10 years ago.

Mine was somewhat darker green, obviously it loved tanning in the African sun!! LOL!!. It came with those same (fugly) 16" inch rims, but I managed to initially find 4 locally made Jody 15" x 10" Mags for it, later found a 5th. I fitted 33 x 10,5 x 15 BF ATRs (lethal on wet tar)

As the "4.2i SGX" indicates, it was petrol TB42, injected and automatic. I made 50mm spacers to fit between the floor and the rear (middle row) of seats because my sons (both 6vt 3 in) found them too low and complained about sitting with their knees next to their ears.

Grant, previous owner of Dirk's (Offroad Biker) GQ, supplied and fitted the snorkel for me many years ago.
