Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Howzit guys

I am looking for a set of GU mirror base plates, most likely this will come from a set of scrap or broken mirrors.

I need the aluminium triangular plate that bolts onto the door, the part the mirror itself pivots on.

Attached is a bad topview pic I found online, but it gets the point across.

Please let me know if you have.

I had what I think is the same problem.
The mirror casing is loose, and the screws on the outside is not the problem, but this pivot thing on the inside (which is likely broken).
That is a very intricate little piece of technology inside there.
You may be able to wedge a thin slice of rubber between the mirror and the bracket that holds the mirror, to stiffen it.
Only then you will not be able to use the button that folds the mirrors towards the car.
But at least it will not flip-flop on the high way - first showing a car passing on your right, and then showing no car on your right - can be dangerous.

If Dawid does not have, you may have to take a second bond on your house before approaching Nissan SA.
