I am planning to spend very little time home next year so I need to get the Patrol dates set so that I can plan my camping trips and maybe try and get in an overland trip somewhere.....

That Bots dune trip sounds like the perfect time to extend and do a drive through the Kgalagadi as it will be on Mabua's doorstep.

I hear you! Also wanting to do southern Namibia next year so Bots dune trip could tie in nicely
