After having sold this to a Buyer from Kimberley...………..viewtopic.php?f=43&t=8672
This BEAUTY came looking for a Good Home, I met the Seller at 07h00 in GP, and it was love at first sight
Went to fetch her last week, driving back I opened up her throat a little, just checking everything is lekker. 6.2
km/litre.....!!
I delivered the GL in Bloem this weekend, and sommer decided to follow my wife and kids with Olive. Took it a bit easier, filled up in Bloem yesterday ......… 6.7 km/litre.
What a nice car. Quiet, solid, torquey engine (LOTS of low down torque!!!), and VERY sure footed handling.
I really look forward to driving her back to Bethlehem later today. She will have to tow a Landy on a trailer to Sasol some time soon, and yes, I think she's posed too much now after being cleaned up many times.........time for a bit of offroad work coming up, ASAP!!!
Edit - coming back from Bloem, between 120 - 130 km/h, 4 in car, aircon on, I filled up again tonight...…..bit heavier at 5,6 km/litre.
