hi everyone
I want to get some seat covers and must decide between
Takla Cantech/ Signature and Escape Gear Tuff Canvas
Escape Gear including jump seats = R 8100
Takla Cantech including jump = R 8 610
Takla Signature including jump = R11 381
Escape gear front + middle row = ,R 7300
Takla front+ middle = R 5907
Takla Signature front+middle = R 8245
Who has which and how many years and what is your wear and tear , I normally drive my vehicles at least 10years so I need n durable and nice looking product.
Shalom

I just bought a set (front and rear seats, no jump seats) from a chap that works for IanT here. He makes them himself. I paid a third of the prices quoted there.
I haven’t had a chance to fit them yet, but I had a good look at them and I’m very happy - there’s no ways im spending close to R10k on covers.

Check with Jacques from Ganis Mags & Motorsport. Got my set of Escape gear seat covers for all three rows and spare wheel cover for R6500 a year ago.

The Takla seat covers in Chuck (earlier Taktech fabric, not later Cantech) are nearly a decade old, and show no signs of wear. I'd go for Cantech if I had to buy today, because of the (presumably) better "wicking" properties.
The rubber insets on the "Takmats" have some scuff marks, but that's understandable. And the velcro used to fasten the tops of the Takmats to the carpets have lost some of their stickiness over time...

Rhett, that looks awesome.
Can you confirm if they accommodate the size impact air bag? I don't see a slit as with my escape gear covers.
And what was the price?

Hey Paul, thanks! I'm pretty happy with them. All in all R4500 for them.
No, I don't think they accommodate the side airbags, I don't see a slit anywhere - will you show me on yours where it should be?
