Good day Guys
We have been busy for the last couple of months developing some gull wings for the Gu here is a couple of pics of the second prototype. We still have some minor issues to solve out before we can say it’s ready for the market. Please let me know what you are thinking. They will be available from Anthony as well as myself. On the price we still need to sit and calculate what the cost are currently. But all i can say is they will be under R10 000.00 for a set there will be available for the grx models with the aircon unit in the back and the gl models without the aircon.

This is sounding fantastic. Well done on the R+D so far Guys. not easy.

Things that i, as a user, would be interested in (and open to counter arguments of course) are:

- void/aperture to be as large as possible (Ie; Frame to rob as little space as possible from the opening)
- Single lock/latch, Preferably flush, so either the popular pressure lever latches (which i find very frustrating on my Patrol Bakkie Canopy, or better yet, recessed articulated T-handle or the paddle handle
http://www.roadque.co.za/locks-fasteners-and-hinges/

I understtand why you've gone with the ones in your prototype, the inside profile is slim and tucked away, bit, if you are going to go with the framed door design (as per your prototype pics) ,and not with a single sheet, then there is space for ones mentioned , without fouling on items stored inside.

and lastly, a textured black powdercoating would do well for pin striping branches etc.

Those are my constructive friendly comments, and are personal ,so please do not take them as criticism. you guys are onto a great product here!

That really looks the part. Well done Sean.

Russ, I like your comments, and they do make good sense. I also am not a fan of sticky out bits that can potentially hook on something.
