Trust me, you don't want the ones that cost less than R20k, it's been over 2 years and I'm still fixing the cheap one I bought....

Re: Safari pickup wanted for farm
I hear you, but I have a cunning plan: All I need is a Safari bakkie without an engine. Reenen knows where I want to go with this.Overambitious wrote: ↑19 Jan 2020 06:05 Trust me, you don't want the ones that cost less than R20k, it's been over 2 years and I'm still fixing the cheap one I bought....

Re: Safari pickup wanted for farm
indeed, spot on
Can't understand why Nissan never sold this in ZA. The SD33T and later the RD28T were very popular world wide.
And the RD28 is not a weak engine, the Ozzies push some serious ponies out of them. Yes, maybe not as much as a CRD or a tweaked TD42, but still decent power. A VNT with a big IC should wake up the RD28 very nicely.

Re: Safari pickup wanted for farm
No, the Tata will be SFA at some stage, using a D1 front axle and radius arms.
