Coming out of the Closet

Hi All
For some time now (about 4 years) I've been on this forum and I've just realised that through all the posts I've read that I actually know so much about so many members, yet I had not ever introduced myself.
So...Hello All that are on here, my name is Rob and I have a 1998 Red 4.5 GL.
I was previously a multiple mitsubishi owner and have great respect for them, but when I wanted to get more seriously into overlanding I decided I needed a serious overlander and in my budget bracket it was either a cruiser or patrol....so based on reputation, looks, uniqueness and this awesome forum, I bought Big Red from a guy in Worcester, Cape Town.
Since then I've fell in love with this car, it has more character than that loud mouth guy at the office and she has taken me many places. I am very passionate about overlanding and I love building this so I'm making a few odds and ends to make my overlanding setup uniquely Patrol and convenient.
Hope to meet up with you guys sometime on another trip similar to the River Trip.
Cheers for now.....the guy who just came out of the closet.
