Hey Gents,

I've just moved out of Richards Bay to Prince's Grant Estate, which is near Ballito. Could you guys recommend an honest Troll mechanic in the area. I just did my 185k service, while I was out the country for work, my wife stepped on the brakes quite hard a D the abs light has come on. I really don't want to take her in to the dealer. I would also wants someone to maybe upgrade suspension sometime. Any suggestions welcomed.

Thanks Gents,

Pascal

abs light has come on
Hi Pascal
Might be totally unrelated but my ABS light came on after I had a new radio installed. Will let you know if I get to the bottom of it.

Cheers
John

Good afternoon Pascal

I am also in that market at present and with financial realities always a factor, I am seriously looking at the Pedders solution or at least the shocks an steering damper - will still use my Old Man Emu though - got a quote today for shocks, steering damper, caster correction kit - 11k odd.

Hey thanks guys for the help. Drove Ballito up and down today. I couldn't even find anyone to hook up to the Troll to do a diagnostic. Brakes work fine for now, and THE ABS Light problem is internment. Some days it comes on, other days it doesn't weird. I found a bosch service centre, waited till 4, only to have them phone me and tell me, they don't have the leads to hook up to my model Troll. I was pretty ecstatic, as you can imagine. I currently have the OME shocks installed, but it seems that the vehicle is dipping slightly to the drivers side by 10-15mm. Maybe I'm imaging it? Maybe it's the weight of the spare tire? Maybe it's the weight of the fuel tank? Man, I've Google myself blue in the face here looking for someone to give me a decent opinion.

Might be something to do with my radio install. Will look into that, as the vehicle came wired with an aftermarket radio as well.

If you drive from Ballito to Salt Rock on N2 you take the off ramp but at Stop you turn left and follow the road and you will see Umhlali Nissan , else you must bring it to Emp so that Jaco can service you Lorrie
