Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

I have seen this Patrol on gumtree and for some reason it is attracting me and I'm interested. There is however a few niggles with it besides being a 2003 model. The list is as follows;

1. The windscreen is cracked,
2. The front bumper is damage as well as the right hand side fog light,
3. Front driver seat is damage,
4. Dent on left hand side close to aerial,
5. The owner says fuel consumption is 450km per tank main tank which should be 95l, which sounds to me on the high side for a 3.0l,
6. Gear knob damage wear and tear,
7. Some cosmetic stuff, wear and tear,
8. Front and back tyres not the same.

I have contacted the owner, the vehicle is a company vehicle which gets used for rail projects back and beyond (99% road use, never really done offroad work), was not used to tow, want to sell it as the company is disposing of vehicles that are not being utilized to the full. They had to redo the turbo at some stage other than that they claim there is no mechanical issues.

What are the opinions out there is this vehicle worth looking at and what should one offer the owner looking at the things to be done on it?

I will add some extra photo's that is not on Gumtree.

Rudolph what km and price..???

The ad says it has 160 000 km on the odo. Didn't see a pic of the clock though.

They want R 130k for it.

I like the colour, but a 2003????? that would concern me a bit

if this car does 450 km on the main tank then I would say don't bother with a diesel and get a 4.5 or 4.8.

I am getting with my 4.5 auto 650 km on the open road and 500 + km in daily commute.

surely this car should go 600 KM + on the main tank

En ek dink 130 is te veel. Jy kan 'n vroe 4.8 kry vir daai geld.

Jip daai spesifieke 30l is die bom tipe sal nie meer as 90k vir hom betaal nie daar is 4.2 diesels beskikbaar vir 100k 4.8 vir 170 ....hou jou gq of koop iets anders daai een oo oo ee ee nee nee

En daai brandstof vebruik kan nie reg wees nie
Jy behoort seker ten minste 8km per liter te kan kry met ZD30.

Ek het ook gedink in die orde van R80-90k, maar dan is daar altyd die onsekerheid oor die handgranaat.

So koop n 4.2 koolstoof vir 100k baie beter plan

Moet se, as ek moet kies tussen handgrenade risk en die 4.2, dan gaan ek vir die 4.2 teen 100k.
