On a side note for people interested in this trip.

I have been doing this event since 2015 and will try and do it this year as well.
I usually do it with the McCarthy Club as they are one of the sponsors and have the first 40 entrants. This is a major advantage as you start early and finish early on both days. There are around 170 vehicles every year so it makes a big difference.

This is an ideal outing for a family and actually got my wife convinced that 4x4ing is fun.
