Gents
I am looking to go camping for a week during December in the Hoedspruit Graskop area, but have not been there for about 16 years and did not really camp when I lived there. I basically just want to get away and relax and take in the beautiful surroundings
I know Swadini very well (which is full by the way), but don't know of any other places to go camp and still be in a central spot to do day outings to the well-known attractions.
Would love to do some fly fishing in the Blyde, do some hiking and drive to Pilgrims Rest, potholes and so on.
Any ideas of places that will not cost me a fortune and might still have space available?
There is one option at Kampersrus which I am still waiting for an answer on, so I'm not bargaining on anything.

We spent a week at Swadini at the end of November, and I'm sure it's just as nice as when you stayed there last
The resort was very popular when we were there - Yvette and I had to stay in a 6 sleeper because all the smaller units were fully booked. A lot of people came in for the weekend only, maybe you can book your stay during the week only?
BTW: the Blyde dam is only 49% full:

At least there's enough water for fly-fishing:

Thanks for the info Christo, I did phone for the period from 25 - 29 but the lady says its fully booked.
Now I actually did live inside Swadini for about a year and I know there is always space in the camping section.
Will phone again and make sure.
Shocking to see how low the water is in the Blyderivierspoort dam......

Klink darem of ek moontlik gaan reg kom by Kampersrus vir blyplek.

Tinus, ek sal hom n bel gee
Dankie John vir jou moeite, ek sal verseker by Upperdeck gaan draai maak.
Oom Kobus, daar is baie diere daar.
