How's this for high-mileage km's?

Dear Guys,

Perhaps a short comparison that you may find interesting:

1. 4.8 GRX Patrol 2003 model with 1.55 million kilometers on the clock. How many LC's can boast this?

http://www.autotrader.co.za/used-cars/n ... d732ecb89f

2. On the flipside, a 2013 Model ZD30 GU Patrol with 100 000 km already on engine number 2. Who knows what happened to one, but it is the same as mine and kitted to the teeth. Saw it at NTT Nissan Newcastle last week. Not very assuring.

Thought this was interesting

Regards

Johann

Impressive !
But suddenly I thought of how much fuel that must have taken to do the km's, along with the cost associated and suddenly I get a cold sweat & the gonads retract like Boeing landing gear :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:
My donkey diesel might be slow, but the 4.8L petrol is an alcoholic in comparison.

Still, show me a Toyota LC that has those km's and is still in the condition of that Patrol !

That 4.8 patrol should retail for no more than RK168. The asking price is way over the top.

Jip, looks like he added a 4 in there. On this topic, who holds some bragging rights to serious mileage on the forum?

I remember meeting a guy a few years ago who had 700 000km odd on his 4.8, and his FIL had closer to 800k.

Oom Mac claims Lobo (Safari) has 1.3m.
But once the clock turns over, there is not proof of that.

1.3m! :surprised: I will take a video of mine clocking over when I get there, but at 10 000km's a year, I will be 155 years old.
