Importing a Patrol....

Is it possible to import a Patrol?
Has anyone done it?
And how about importing a vehicle without an engine, is this a real loophole?
Would be interesting to know...
Got this off springbokimports web site:
HO MAY IMPORT A USED VEHICLE?
The criteria laid down by the South African government on who may import a used car would be as follows:
-returning RSA-citizens (must have worked / studied in the foreign country)
-People immigrating to South Africa)
Should you live in South Africa, you can only import a used vehicle if the vehicle can be classified as a:
-Collector’s car (e.g. Mazda RX7 Turbo)
-Vintage / veteran vehicle (must be older than 40 years)
-If the car is an inheritance
Please work through the Import Permit Categories section of the website for more complete information.
If you do not comply with the above mentioned criteria, it would be illegal to import a used vehicle!
The reason for the strict rules is because the South African government want to protect the South African car market against a possible flood of cheap used cars from abroad, which could result in a collapse of the car marked.
Patrols are on their list of "sensible cars to import"...
