What to do with a dead cordless drill

Saw something that I thought was quite useful.
If you've got a 12V cordless drill or impact driver with a dead battery, often the new battery pack is almost the price of a new set.
Attach cable to the contact terminals of the drill and crocodile clamps to the other end of the cable and you've got a drill for taking along on your trip in case the need for one arises.

Have the battery pack re-packed at a battery-supply-center, there are guys around doing that. I had a Skill and a Blue Bosch's repacked and they are still working 100% today and will have it re-packed in the future as well. (One in JHB and the other in CPT) just phone or ask around

Batteryexperts in Durban also repackages drill batteries - had 2 packs done for my 12V Metabo for a very reasonable price.
